An empty place, just perfect for the kind of wander Curiosity enjoys. Not too good for The Knees though. Justifiable complaints began about cliffs and rocks, and then The Balance joined in, predicting wobbly pebbles and slippery seaweed….Had to ignore them.
Glasgow is a new city for me so my hobby and exercise routine has become exploring all its green spaces. And it has surprised me how many there are. It is apparently the second greenest city in the UK. Not the image I had of Glasgow! Is it yours? Map of Glasgow’s green spaces. This time …
The whole point of these walks is to explore..just to see what is there. The Forth and Clyde Canal suggested itself. And Curiosity decided we should find the spot where the Canal enters the River Clyde itself.
How what is so clear to one generation, the obvious truth etc becomes another generations bete noir!
